Tom Kendrick broke in as an urchin boat deckhand in 1978, and started diving a year later. The boom of the mid-eighties took him from the Channel Islands off Santa Barbara to Oregon, Washington, Mexico, Alaska, northern Caliornia and the Farallon Islands. At age 55 he no longer dives professionally, but still surfs and writes. He lives in Sebastopol, California |
